Clinic for Complementary Medicine

Specialized medical services

We provide the following two types of medical treatment for outpatients: 1) Advice and information on complementary medicine, and 2) Clinical studies on complementary medicine.
Recently, the interest level in Complementary & Alternative Medicine (CAM) has increased. CAM includes two types: one being complementary medicine to improve patients’ “quality of life” (QOL) by applying therapy additional to the existing treatment, and the other being alternative medicine which discontinues the existing treatment to change to another one.
We mainly aim to conduct clinical studies on complementary medicine to gather evidence, striving to solidify our position as a leader in the complementary medicine arena.
Recently, we aim to integrate multiple CAMs with existing medical care and to become a holistic integrative medicine.

1) Our services are for the purpose of consultation, and both new patients and revisitors require an appointment. Our services of consultation/information on complementary medicine are not covered by health insurance and patients must pay a fee of 16,200 yen (including tax) / visit.
The time required is about 60 minutes, but it may be shorter or longer depending on the content of the consultation. Since interview by telephone in advance is required, we ask that details of the consultation and medical condition be provided when making a reservation.
2) Please refer to our website for details about clinical studies in our department. Some clinical studies may be accepting outside participation. For details, please contact us by telephone. There is no cost burden for participation in a study (some clinical studies may require partial examination fees etc.)
Our motto is to listen kindly to patients’ complaints and to perform consultations carefully.

Due to the circumstances, reception will be closed until further notice.
