  • Take the Osaka Monorail to Handai-byoin-mae Station.
  • From JR Ibaraki Station, take the Kintetsu Bus (bound for Handai Honbu-mae) to Handai Igakubu Byoin-mae Bus Stop.
  • From Hankyu Railway Ibaraki-shi Station, take the Kintetsu Bus (bound for Handai Honbu-mae) to Handai Igakubu Byoin-mae Bus Stop.
  • From Kita-Osaka Kyuko Railway Senri-Chuo Station, take the Hankyu Bus to Handai Igakubu Byoin-mae Bus Stop.

Because there are a limited number of parking spaces for patients, gaining entrance to the parking lot may take some time.
In order to relieve congestion, we recommend using public transportation to come to the hospital if at all possible. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

Parking Facilities for Disabled

The number of parking spaces for disabled persons is limited to 42(parking area in front of the entrance:25, flat parking area:17), with priority given to wheelchair users.
We appreciate everyone's understanding and cooperation.
You must display a permit for exemption from prohibited parking (issued by the prefectural public safety commission) when using.Please note that a physical disability certificate cannot be used to park here.
If you do not have the exemption emblem, please tell the security guard when entering the parking lot. We will lend you a certificate to display.
Please ask a security guard about any unclear points.

※ We offer a discount for patients who have a physical disability certificate. For details, please see "On the Use of Visitor Parking (Parking Fee)" above. The discount system is only for patients themselves, and the discount is not applicable to attendants or visitors, even if they have the above certificate.

Wheelchair Availability

Patients requiring a wheelchair on the hospital premises can obtain one at the main entrance or at the multi-story parking lot.
If you are disembarking from a taxi or private vehicle at the main entrance, please inform a nearby security guard that you require a wheelchair.
A wheelchair parking area is also provided at the rear of the entrance on the 1st floor (southeast side) of the multi-story parking lot. Please feel free to use a wheelchair if you require one.

Please note that no volunteer assistants are available at present due to restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

※First-time visitors to Osaka University Hospital must have a referral from a physician.
