Patient Support Center

Aiming to enhance cooperation with medical institutions in the community and comprehensive patient services, the Community Health Care Promotion Office was established in 1996 and reformed in 2001 into the Social Service Department. We have been working hard to strengthen regional cooperation.
A new center replacing the Social Service Department, the Patient Support Center was established on January 1st, 2022 to provide further support for hospital admission/discharge and health counseling services.

Old Name: Social Service Department
New Name: Patient Support Center

Considerations in referring your patients to the Patient Support Center

The Patient Support Center accepts patients referred from medical facilities in the community to the Osaka University Hospital to arrange their appointments for consultation.

(Mon.) to (Fri.) 9:00 am to 5:00 pm (excluding holidays and New Year’s holidays)
※Contact by FAX
(Mon.) to (Fri.) 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (excluding holidays and New Year’s holidays)
Note that we do not accept requests for appointments by patients.
Please be sure to make an appointment through the medical facility where the patient’s doctor works.

First visit 8:30 am to 11:00 am
Revisit 8:30 am to 11:30 am
Revisit with appointment 8:30 am to 3:00 pm

※First-time visitors to Osaka University Hospital must have a referral from a physician.
